Each month during the school year, the Rotary Club of Forest Grove selects an eighth grader and a high school senior as its Rotary Youth Citizens of the Month. The award is rotated monthly between Forest Grove, Banks and Gaston schools.
Rotary Youth Citizens of the Month are selected by the administrators in the districts with assistance from teachers. The program recognizes students who possess high standards of personal behavior and good citizenship, exemplify the ideals of Rotary, follow school rules and and have excellent behavioral records.
We are grateful for our partners in the Youth Citizen of the Month program: the Forest Grove School District, Banks School District and Gaston School District.
Selected students and their families are honored at a club meeting and receive a certificate and a $50 gift certificate from Frye’s Action Athletics.
