Be The Inspiration:
This week’s Be The Inspiration Award recipient is Michelle Thomas, as selected by Geoff Faris. Congratulations Michelle!

Harvest Festival: The Ridgewalker Forest Grove Harvest Festivalis this Saturday Oct. 27. Rotarians have been asked to assist with set-up and takedown for the festival along with staffing some game booths that evening. The event is a fundraiser for World Help, of which Rotarian Tara Cirlincione is on the Advisory Board. Proceeds will go to drill water wells in third-world countries. For more information, contact Tara.

Rotary Foundation Update: To date, club members have contributed a total of $2,200 towards The Rotary Foundation and $665 towards PolioPlus. We have a good start on reaching our club goals of $9,000 for TRF giving and $1,500 towards PolioPlus giving. Thank you!

Citations Have Been Received!: District 5100 Assistant Governor David Noyes visited our club to present a pair of citations. David presented the 2017-18 Rotary Citation to past president Tom Raabe in recognition of our club meeting the criteria for the citation during his year. David also presented to past Interact advisor Geoff Faris the 2017-18 Rotary Citation for the Forest Grove HS Interact Club. In addition, David presented an award to club in recognition of our continued support of Polio Plus.

Wednesday’s Program: Danielle Isaac
A member of the Rotary Club of Tigard, Danielle Isaac spoke to us about her journey from working in the corporate world to running her own business. Through her own life coaching and consulting firm, Danielle Isaac Life Mastery, Danielle works to empower people, especially women, to find their own path to being entrepreneurs and other life transitions.
